Robot Architecture

2015

Single Estate

Small Batch

Robot Architecture is a collaboration between ValueLab.Co and boutique Australian winery Austins & Co. to create the most exclusive ethical luxury wine label in the world. The wine was produced by winemaker Michael Kyberd of Morningtons Peninsula's Red Hill Estate fame. Only 800 bottles of this wine exist.

Austins and Co. is located in Victoria's Moorabool Valley, a Burgundy-esque microregion just outside Geelong that is perfect for growing amazing pinot noir. Robot Architecture is based on their 96-point (Halliday), single plot, single vineyard wine, the pinnacle of their fine wine collection.

The fruit was hand-harvested, picked in daylight and allowed to soak in skins for four days. The must was inoculated with a specially selected yeast and plunged three times daily in early stages of ferment, then tapered daily as alcohol and temperature increased, in line with daily tastings to achieve perfect flavour and texture balance. the wine was then gently pressed and allowed to finish malolactic fermentation in tank, before being barrelled in 33% new French Oak for 12 months.

This project is part of ValueLab.Co's Feed the World Project, which means that your purchase contributes to the elimination of global hunger and improving the sustainability of the global food supply chain. Each bottle of Robot Architecture purchase provides 30 meals to Australians in need via OzHarvest.

Price: Single Bottle $80, 3-Pack $200.
